Our Client & Challenge
DC Bees first started from an extremely avid hobbyist beekeeper. Like every other small business, they needed a logo design, packaging design and an ecommerce website on a tight budget and timeline. With our new branding and packaging design, they are able to sell their local honey, beekeeping classes, and handcrafted skincare products to stores in the Central Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area. The ecommerce website we designed also provides them with a strong web presence and revenue stream. We currently manage all their website updates to keep this ecommerce website looking sharp and aligned with their brand.
Branding, Packaging & Web Design Highlights
Playful Honey Jar & Logo Design
We designed a cute, friendly logo that worked well with the mason jars for their honey. Contrary to what everyone thinks, we did not Photoshop the bees in this photo. They are real bees.
Bold Packaging & POS Display Design
We designed eye-catching lip balm labels for vanilla, bubblegum, chocolate mint, spearmint, orange, banana, tropical and sugared cherries flavors complete with a fun POS display to maximize impulse purchases. We may be web designers but we know graphic design as well!
Easy to Use, Mobile-Friendly Shopping Cart
We built a simple, easy to maintain ecommerce WordPress website to allow customers to buy DC Bees’ products online. Because we were given the creative reins, this shopping cart was launched in weeks, not months.
